We booked a last minute airport transfer from Katelios. Dennis arrived early and communicated clearly via WhatsApp, he even agreed to a small change in the pickup location due to heavy rain. We were in lourdas and it was our last day. I tried to hire a car, but the minimum rental was 3 days and we were leaving the next day, so not possible. The rental guy suggested Nikos and Dennis and gave us their number. It was now 11.30am and we wanted to travel up to Myrtos beach and have a beer and some food at a taverna in Assos. I rang and spoke to Nikos, he was very understanding of our predicament and had a lovely can do attitude. I explained what we required and he said, "No problem". We negotiated a price and at 12 noon he turned up in a beautiful Mercedes car and drove us very leisurely up to Myrtos beach. He was great company and we chatted all the way. We just went to the viewing area to take aerial photos of Myrtos, which is just stunning. All the time Nikos was polite and informative and nothing was too much trouble. He took photos on our behalf and there was no pressure to move on. We eventually dragged ourselves away and headed to Assos. We parked up and took a leisurely walk down to the harbour. Nikos told us about the earthquake in 1953 and pointed out some of the oldest houses on the island. We settled on a taverna on the harbour looking out at the beautiful cove. Nikos remained with us and had a coke, whilst we had beers and calamari. He was great company and very relaxed Once we were sated of food, beer, the views and ambience of Assos, we headed back. A gentle drive back to Lourdas. Nikos is a great guy and nothing was too much trouble.... An impromptu afternoon made possible by Nikos and his flexible nature....
Today we had Nikos drive us 30 minutes from Poros to Sami, he was super approachable, took care of our stuff, and drove well. They were also extremely accommodating when we had to change our taxi pickup time. Very fairly priced too compared to other taxis we got of the same distance.
We had an absolutely amazing experience with Petroustsos (Nik & Dennis) From the very beginning, they were incredibly prompt and responsive on WhatsApp, making communication super easy. They never let us down—always on time, reliable, and professional.
They were also really friendly and welcoming, with brilliant English and a great knowledge of the local area, which made getting around so much smoother and stress-free. Without them, our time in Kefalonia would have been stressful.

We highly recommend this family ran service. Communication was fantastic, we ordered a taxi into Argostoli from our hotel in Lourdas for a day out. We were shown lots of interesting places along the way, and were encouraged to stop for a photo opportunity of the beautiful beaches on the way back. We used Nikos for our transfers to the airport and a trip from Karavamylos to Argostoli. He was fantastic - punctual, friendly and very knowledgeable. Also very reassuring when our flight was delayed. Would highly recommend.
We booked this transfer from the airport to Fiskardo through a GetTransfer.com which we found online. PETROUTSOS wasn’t the very cheapest (maybe €8 more than a van option). But worth every penny. And €20 less than the price quoted by Ionian Reserve’ Concierge who we had booked our accommodation through. Nick could not have been more responsive ahead of time as I communicated our slight delay. The car was extremely comfortable and he drive the 1.5 hours over to Fiskardo beautifully. He also gave us an in depth history of the island and his family’s story intertwined with it. It was a great start to our holiday and we would whole-heartedly recommend this kind and professional taxi service to anyone.
